“Buoyed by the popularity of, we introduced the brand, which offers online home, car, travel, health and property insurance for the over 25s, to our portfolio. In 2013 we launched our telematics brand,, which rewards better driving and offers younger drivers competitive insurance.”

Staff numbers at the Coleraine-based organisation have more than tripled over the last decade, up from 30 to 102. Ten new jobs will be created in the next six months and a further 40 new jobs are envisaged over the next three to five years. Discussing the company’s expansion plans Mr McClarty adds:

"We aim to replicate the success that the company has achieved in the last decade in the Irish market by rolling out a major expansion plan in Northern Ireland. The first phase of this strategy is the recent launch of our flagship Its4Women insurance brand.

“To increase brand awareness the launch is being supported with a £1million advertising and sponsorship campaign. It's a significant but strategic investment which will help us to achieve our aim of securing 5% to 10% of the Northern Ireland online car insurance market within five years."
